The great news about having days off is knowing you can maximize your time using the weekends and holidays. Simply said, we are going to inspire you to use your vacation and get the best bang for your buck with company paid time-off.

Paid time-off is not just a benefit, it gives you the opportunity to experience a life beyond work. You can use it for self-care, unwinding, healing your mind, body, and soul, self-time, or family-time on a staycation or a vacation anywhere in the world. The worst thing an employee can do is not use their days. Another way to look at not using your day is giving back money you earned.

PTO into a financial comparison

Your paid time-off is part of your compensation package. It is built into your salary and depending on the company, it can be a use or lose it scenario. For 15 days of PTO, we are going to show you how much is on the table based on an annual salary.

Salary vs Vacation Cash Value

  • $40,000 = $2,300

  • $80,000 = $4,800

  • $120,000 = $6,900

  • $160,000 = $9,200

Your vacation is paid for as you accrue days and this is your value for using your days off.

Our inspired strategy is to stack your paid days off with holidays and weekends. Now let’s dive into a master plan for maximizing the value of your PTO from Memorial Day through Christmas/New Year.
